This sale is for one (1) Le Studio Custom Pre-Amplifier! Our all discrete 'Le Studio' microphone, and line pre-amplifier is now finally made available to the public. This design was based on classic kit used at Le Studio Morin Heights during the mid-seventies. This new 500 version was designed by Merril Bradshaw, and based on drawings, and modifications made by William Le Gallee Mann. How does it sound? Beta testing clients have compared the lush open high-end to that of the of the 'RCA Camden' custom API pre-amplifiers made in 1968, and the lower midrange and bass to that of the Neve 80 Series 1272's and 1073's. The unique tone control is what we call a 'tilt EQ that emphasizes frequencies that are already present in the incoming signal. This unit fits into your existing 500 series lunchbox or console.
