For your consideration: a Carlo Robelli ES-500 Blonde Flame Maple archtop electric guitar. It’s a copy of an Gibson ES 5 archtop. It has a great feel and wonderful tone, full size 17' body 3" 3/8" deep. An unbelievably versatile archtop guitar! The ES-500 gets it's tonal flexibility from three "dog ear" style soapbar P-90 pickups with separate volume controls for each and a master tone control - allowing the player to easily blend tones. The maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with beautifull block pearl markers, each with a stripe of abalone running diagonally through it. Features: select flame maple top, back and sides; 3 volume & 1 master tone controls ; gold hardware; vintage Bigsby style tremolo; 20 frets; set neck; triple bound neck, headstock and body. These guitars were made in the same Peerless factory as the Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe and some say the ES 500’s P 90’s sound better. Guitar was hand picked by me and is in virtually the same condition as the day I bought it at Sam Ash except for gold painted bottom panel of Bigsby which looks original and to me , looks cooler. Plays great, sounds great, no issues on the web you can find photos of Richard Thompson playing the Peerless branded one.
