PRS SE Custom 24 Deluxe Wiring Kit | CTS, Orange Drop, Oak Grigsby, Switchcraft, Treble Bleed

Upgrade your PRS SE with the highest quality components made by CTS, Orange Drop, Oak Grigsby and Switchcraft all connected with vintage-style cloth pushback wire. Includes a treble bleed circuit that helps retain clarity of high frequencies when rolling down the volume pot.

This kit is designed for most PRS SE models sporting one Volume, one Tone and one 3-way blade switch, which include:

This premium upgrade wiring kit includes:
* 1 x CTS 500K audio taper short split shaft potentiometer
* 1 x Orange Drop .001μF 715P 600V capacitor & 150k Ohm resistor for Treble Bleed Circuit
* 1 x CTS 500K push/pull audio taper short split shaft potentiometer for split coil tone control
* 1 x Orange Drop .022uF 715P 600V capacitor
* 1 x Oak Grigsby 3-way blade switch with cream tip
* 1 x Switchcraft #11 mono output jack
* 24" Vintage-style tinned 22 AWG white cloth pushback wire for hot lead
* 24" Vintage-style tinned 22 AWG black cloth pushback wire for grounding pots

Cap: The New Old Stock (NOS) Orange Drop 715P .022uF 600V capacitor was made in the USA by the original manufacturer SBE in 2011-2012, shortly before they sold the Orange Drop product line to Cornell Dubilier (CDE). As such the outer shell may have some scuffs and mars. Each capacitor was recently tested and found to be in perfect working order and well within 5% tolerance.

Pots: Each CTS pot is tested by hand and treated with CRC QD Contact Cleaner to clean and CRC 2-26 Multi-Purpose Lubricant to protect the internal components and ensure long, reliable service.

Pot Holes: The mounting shaft of the original Alpha pots in your PRS SE guitar are smaller than those of the CTS pots. You will need to enlarge the pot holes in order to install these CTS pots. It is recommended you use a reamer to enlarge the pot holes. If you do not have a reamer, you can save money and bundle one with the purchase of this kit.

Knobs: The original Alpha pots in your PRS SE guitar have 8mm diameter 16-splines coarse mounting shafts. These CTS pots have 3/8" diameter 24-spline fine mounting shafts. Your original knobs won't fit these CTS pots. New knobs can be purchased separately.
