12 string acoustic guitar

made in Germany in April 1965

...different as John Lennon's Hootenanny, this model has been originally equipped with a 12string bull-bar bridge with and quite rare

- overall length 107cm, scale lenght 63cm
- sunburst top with original celluloid pickguard and beautiful wooden soundhole rosette, with multi-layer purfling edge and binding
- mahogany body with solid sides, lower bout 37.5cm, center bout 25.8 cm, upper bout 29.5cm, sides height 9 cm-11 cm
- straight and flat set mahogany neck, easy to play, with trussrod (plate not original), headstock with inlayed Framus decal
- good quality  fingerboard with raadius and pearl dot inlays, 19 frets + zero fret, original nut, width at nut 47,5 mm
- original 12pin bullbar quality bridge with saddle made of bone
- 2x original strap pin (1x ebony, 1x steel)
- original Framus note inside: BUILT IN THE HEARTH OF BAVARIA, model 5/024, serial 30092, tested by Müller, 65B (year/month), Framus WERKE Bavaria, made in W. Germany

The guitar is fully playable with good with good 3mm string action (E1 at 12th fret). Except to a stable closed crack in the right solid side --> Please see pictures) guitar is free of cracks and without damage.

The instrument is showing moderate and authentic signs of the time - most to the top (e.g. fine lacquer cracks (vintage factor), paint defects and scratches, minor dents)

The guitar is in original condition

The fingerboard is showing harmless signs of playing between the first two frets. The frets show no signs of wear and were rounded. The fingerboard has been cleaned and oiled

with new 0.010 steel strings
