The Hohner Echophone harmonica is a 10-hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C. It has a metal echo chamber that fits around the harmonica. When you play the harmonica, you cup your hands over the opening to create really cool wah-wah and tremolo sounds. The cover plates are rose-gold colour and the echo holder is gold with Hohner engravings. It comes in a wooden, finger jointed box with gold/ brass hinges and latch.
The harmonica is in tune and has been cleaned and checked in our workshop here at Reedworks. The great thing about this is you can slide the harmonica out by removing the wedge.
The Echophone is a reissue by Hohner of an earlier 1930s era model, but even the reissue model is quite rare.
Great for the collector or the player.
Condition is excellent + , with the harmonica cover plates showing some dulling in colour. The harmonica is used, but only lightly played and its all in otherwise mint condition.
