Crate caught lightning in a bottle with the GT series. These are exceptionally rare and beloved by crate enthusiasts. They usually need service after 25 years and not many can do it. That makes them quite valuable and hard to find.
100% functionality. Thoroughly tested, cleaned, deoxit'd & tube rings added, this head is a chopped down combo. Same amp, different form factor.
The preamp is almost set up like the G50 Stealth preamp but with a touch more gain, a bit more aggressive. Similarly it has 2 switchable distortion voices: solid state and tube however there is an "expander" button that seemingly expands the sound somehow like a stereo effect. This head also features the SLM chorus circuit that is in the gx130c and vh140c.
The DSP stereo effects are a mix of 32 reverb and delays that are all 100% transparent to the signal voice, a very cool feature if you don't have a pedalboard.
I'm including a crate 3 button footswitch and cable that switches the channel on #1, tube or solid state switching on #2 and DSP toggle on #3.
