The resulting process sets a new standard for the efficiency, precision, and consistency with which saxophone components are manufactured and thereby greatly reducing costs.  With final assembly and tuning done by hand, AXOS is the most advanced and affordable professional alto saxophone Henri Selmer Paris has ever produced. The AXOS alto saxophone is completely designed and built in-house at the Mantes-la-Ville facility, 65 kilometers west of Paris.
