It has a huge, modern sound without sounding thin, and some of the most advanced mouthpiece manufacturing methods in the world. Its fat, huge, and robust sound is due to its innovative and unique window shape, the transition from flat to rounded inner side walls, and its special short True Large Chamber. While maintaining Theo Wanne quality, its lower price point makes it financially viable for most musicians. It is machined from blocks of solid brass. The Core Sound Series mouthpieces introduce a new design concept to the Theo Wanne mouthpiece family. This series emphasizes the center, or core, of the musicians tone. The DATTA is the brightest mouthpiece in the Core Sound Series. Its patented high baffle, unique square window, and special short True Large Chamber gives amazing projection along with its huge, core tone.
