The Frederic Effects Utility Percolator is a heavily modified clone of the Interfax Harmonic Percolator with built-in noise reduction, true bypass switching, and 3 clipping modes.  It can provide textures ranging from mild, fuzzy overdrive crunch to searing and explosive fuzz.  Given this item will ship via USPS priority mail from another US location, it will likely arrive a lot sooner than ordering one from overseas.

I purchased this pedal new directly from the builder in December 2016, and it briefly left my home for a return trip to Frederic Effects to repair a minor grounding issue. There are a few minor cosmetic imperfections including minuscule surface scratches that were difficult to capture in photos. 

This pedal has been tested and has exhibited no apparent functional issues since the point it was repaired by the builder.  It is worth noting that this fuzz may be sensitive to having buffered bypass pedals placed in front of it and that, though the design has been modified to reduce noise, there is still noticeable hissing with some settings when the pedal is engaged.  Additionally, the switch has seemed microphonic when it is cascaded into other gain sources with my rig, but may not be with yours.

The Utility Percolator runs on standard Boss 9V DC power (not included) or a 9V battery (included). Like other dirt pedals, this one will operate more quietly with an isolated power supply. The buyer will assume full responsibility if the pedal is damaged from use of an incorrect power supply.  

The original box and paperwork are included in this sale.

I'm selling this pedal because I have too many Harmonic Percolator clones and am always in search of funds for the purchase of other gear. :)
