Antique Schonbach Schrammel (Contra) Guitar, 1930s – Refurbished, great condition

This schrammel guitar or contraguitar is a masterbuilt instrument coming from Schonbach, Bohemia, manufactured approx. in the 1920s or 30s (possibly in the workshop of the Mettal family, as it is similar to other contraguitars produced by them). It is in fully playable condition with comfortable action on the fretted neck, made from top materials (including the incredible one piece birdseye maple back and ebony fretboards) and it is completely repaired and in great condition overall!

There is a hand-applied french polish on the guitar (in perfect condition save a scratch on the back), all the cracks on the top were properly repaired, it has its original etched brass tuners in great condition and sounds incredible with a plenty of presence and natural reverbation!
