Parkwood is Cort`s exclusive brand which is oriented towards the acoustic segment of the market. Though featuring a short list of models, Parkwood Guitars produce nothing but high quality instruments. PW560 is situated in the 5 Series and it comes with dreadnought shaped body with single cutaway construction. Back and side panels are made of rosewood, while the sound board is made of spruce. This body is paired with a one-piece mahogany neck through a standard dovetail joint. This neck is equipped with a rosewood fingerboard. It features 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.6875" wide bone string nut. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood. Grover tuners and 25-1/3" scale complete the specs list.

Bigger than a dreadnought, the jumbo offers the loudest volume and biggest bass response. The sound is clear with a booming yet tight bass. A great stage guitar as its bigger body emphasizes more projection.
Thin Skin High Gloss Finish
The 5 Series uses a thinly applied high gloss finish to bring out the true beauty of the wood while being thin enough not to interfere with the natural vibrations and tone of the woods. The thinner finish helps the tone and lets you hear more of the wood in the guitar, instead of a thick plastic soundng finish. Parkwood is concerned about tone first, looks and everything else is secondary. This hard and durable finish will protect your guitar for years.
TOP - Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)
Sitka Spruce comes from the Pacific northwest and today is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka is a bit stronger and stiffer than other spruces. Its strength and toughness make it well suited for steel string guitars. “Bearclaw”Spruce is sometimes available on certain models.
BACK & SIDES - Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia baroni)
Rosewood is a resinous, dense, very hard wood. It gets its name because the resins of the freshly cut tree give off a rese-like fragrance. Very resonant producing a deep, warm projective bass response.
FISHMAN's latest addition to the Prefix Series includes many features from our Stereo Blender, including an onboard chromatic tuner, internal microphone, and a streamined new look. This updated preamp offers stereo or mono signal paths and a new low-noise circuit for the system's undersaddle pickup and internal microphone. The key improvement to this unit is the addition of a mono/stereo switch, which allows the player to choose between a single blended signal or splitting the onboard microphone and under-saddle signal. Shelving bass and treble, plus a semi-parametric "Contour" EQ is included to shape the guitar's tone. To complete the package, a phase switch and a redesigned notch filter (with more transparency) are included for fighting feedback.
The onboard digital chromatic tuner is highly accurate. The tuner is very reliable and easy to use. It lets the PARKWOOD player blend sounds from both the pickup and the microphone that result in a unique and personal sound that is yours alone.
