This Fender Telecaster Bass is Owned by Matt Freeman Of Rancid
This bass has some heavy wear–typical of an instrument this age– including neck lacquer cracks and finish checking. The body has scratches and dings throughout, as well as screw holes for the pick guard and thumb rests. The pickup is not original. Other than being very worn in, the bass plays pretty nicely. It is currently wound with flat wound strings. Hardshell case, white pick guard and bridge cover included.
This was played in Rancid's "Who Would've Thought" video. "I bought this bass around 1997 because I liked the neck," he said. "It's really worn in a good way. It has oval tuning machines. I have played this bass live, mostly in the late '90s, early 2000s."
All items in the Official Matt Freeman Of Rancid Reverb Shop ship fully insured with delivery confirmation and include a signed and embossed Certificate Of Authenticity from Matt.
