Up for sale and price reduced by$1300 is my 1990 Gretsch Nashville 6120W Western Gloss Orange Made in Japan Electric guitar
Serial: 907120W-475 (with hyphen)
Production year: July 1990 (Model: 120 series: 475)
Manufactured in Japan (Terada factory)
The guitar is in overall excellent condition thru-out with hardly any wear for a 32 year old instrument, I was asking for $4,100.00. unfortunately the instrument has taken a hit to the back of the headstock leaving some scratch on the back of the neck near the headstock, which has been repaired professionally by a luthier. It looks like someone tried to buff out the scratch which left slight fading and discoloration of the finish in that small area. The guitar is solid and it plays perfectly with nice low action. It's been like that for over a decade and I have not had any issues with the guitar's stability and playability. Therefore the price on the guitar has been lowered taking into account the issues mentioned. Please view all of the pictures before making an offer or purchasing the item. Thank you
Other than the issues mentioned above this is a Super Cool 1990 Made in Japan Guitar. This is the Nashville Western Model 6120W. With the gold Classic Bigsby Tremolo and all gold hardware this guitar looks fantastic. It's loaded with two Filtertron pickups that deliver smooth creamy warm tones as well as glassy sparkle and chime as desired. The frets are in excellent condition with no pitting or noticeable wear, and the fretboard looks almost new.
It comes with the original Gretsch hard shell case and a beautiful leather guitar strap. Also included in the case is an additional wooden bridge that can be used instead of the metal on wood that is currently installed on the guitar now offering you a much more woodier/creamier tone if desired.
The guitar has just been professionally setup and strung with D'Addario Regular light .010 to .046 Nickle wound Strings.
It plays and sounds great. Please check out the video to hear this guitar being played. It's perfectly intonated with a small piece of double stick tape underneath each of the ends of the bridge so you don't have to worry about the bridge moving when you bend or change the strings. I recommend using this method if you own any floating bridge guitars as it's an easy fix, it doesn't damage the guitar in any way but resolves the moving bridge on these types of Guitars. The relief is setup within a hairs tolerance allowing for very low action without buzzing. The fretboard has been conditioned with Orange oil and Wax and the frets polished for ease of playing. It's a great guitar for a fair price. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures just ask and I will do my best to assist you.

Price has been reduced by $1,100.00: the reason is because people wanted to know what was wrong with the guitar? There is a small hairline crack/scratch which I did not notice from taking my pictures. Then I decided to have professional pics. done of the guitar; that is when we noticed the hairline fault on the back of the neck. The guitar is still perfectly playable and has no issue with its' gorgeous appearance what so ever.
So please have a good look before making an offer.
