Teisco Bruno Royal Artist 1960's Sunburst

Vintage Bruno Royal Artist TEISCO type electric guitar. 25" scale. 24 frets. This is a solid mahogany(?) wood body. Nice vibrant sunburst. Dings dents and some paint chips but overall good condition. The pickup switch tip is broken but switch still works fine. Volume and tone work. Both pickups work and are very unique and have nice solid output. The pickups were affixed with a foam backing that has dried up so the pickups kind of "float" but can still be adjusted up or down via the screws. I just cleaned this guitar (sprayed pots and switch, oiled the fretboard and tuners) and set up with a fresh set of D'Addario EXL115W strings (w round G string). Tremolo arm is not original but works well and looks the part. When I was putting the last neck screw in I felt it spin freely and then noticed that it had broken. Cool thing is, there are 5 screws where there are normally only 4 so it's still very solid and stable.

Very cool unique Jaguar/Jazzmaster style. I've owned hundreds of vintage Teisco type Japanese guitars and have never seen one like this. The bridge and pickups are very unique and I've never seen these before. Some of the styling reminds me of some vintage Italian guitars. Anyway, this one is quite the looker!
