Tommys Special Guitar Stratocaster in Cream White was built by Tommy Metz who owned a guitar store in Viersen (Germany) until he suddenly and sadly passed away in 2015. Tommy was by all accounts an extremely passionate human being with a "guitar heart" who started his own guitar shop (Tommy's Guitar Lounge) at the tender age of 19 and eventually started building his own instruments. This Stratocaster was made in 1991, it weighs in at 3,5kg and features an alder body, tortoise pickguard containing 3 EMG single coil pickups, 5 way switch 1 volume, 2 tones, ESP vintage style tremolo, C shaped maple neck with slab rosewood fretboard and Sperzel locking tuners. Includes hard case. Guitar is in great condition, frets are shining like new, gold parts are little rusty, like all old parts.Tommy was a very gifted lutier building guitars using only the best components on the market. His guitars can easily compete with american Custom Shop instruments and Tommy was building instruments for payers like Larry Carlton and Carl Verheyen. All his guitars are handmade by himself, using selected woods, and best available parts.
