About This Listing

Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

A Vintage and RARE 1920's Harmony Parlor Sized Tenor Guitar with the original Canvas Soft Shell Case!

These cool Tenor guitars were made by Harmony. There is not a date stamp in the sound hole ..we are calling it 1920's from the Logo, Wood nut and Tuners. The only Logo that we could find like this one was from a Ukulele from the 1920's... See pic 17... Very very RARE!! Check out those tuners. Beautiful, very substantial and work as they should!

This is the fifth Harmony Stella Tenor we have had in the last 6 years. The last one sold right away and my customer loved it. They are traditionally tuned CGDA like a mandolin but I like to tune them to the top four strings of a 6 string guitar. Easier for us guitar players to manage. DGBE.

I cleaned it up and revealed the awesome original finish on this Birch guitar and just had to get it put back together.. Our Tech did a great job with the setup..It plays now with awesome easy playing action with no fret buzzes. Nice low action on this Tenor. No sore fingers playing this one all night!

Its a smaller parlor guitar. The guitar has a 22 3/4 inch scale neck with a 1 1/4 inch nut. It has 20 frets and the body measures 11 1/4 inches at the lower bout and its 33 1/2 inches long. Slightly smaller than your standard Stella sized Parlor Guitars.

One small crack by the sound hole that we glued and cleated. The fretboard had numerous drying issues with cracks. We filled some and others will come together with proper hydration. This guitar was played a lot...some finger divots in the top few frets..all superficial items that don't affect playing... The original frets are in great shape. Original Substantial Banjo Style Deluxe Tuners that work great. The Vintage Harmony logo is still nice and bright. A very nice guitar for this vintage.

This guitar looks great but its not perfect..superficial dings and scratches as you can see in the pics.. Its used and vintage.

Check out the original Soft Canvas Case. You never still see these with these guitars. The bottom snaps that close the case are still with it. As you can see, the tuners have made their presence known in the case. They have worn through... You would still want this original case to go with this guitar. A true 1920's relic original case for your cool vintage Tenor Guitar!

The guitar is cool but sold as is no returns as its vintage and used. However, I have been hand picking my customers guitars for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found for them. This cool Tenor will certainly not be an exception.

Thanks for checking out our cool vintage guitars, amps and guitar parts!
