Made In Japan Jackson is popular for its high quality at a low price.
The careful craftsmanship of Japan has been re-evaluated and recently made in Japan has been revived, but the factory was changed until around 2010.
The logo of Japanese made Jackson has been changed from Jackson to Grover Jackson, Jackson Stars, Jackson, and Jackson, but they are all made in the same factory and have nothing to do with the grade (all export models are made in the same factory with Jackson logo).
This model has a large Jackson logo with "Grover Jackson" written in two columns behind it, and is from the period known among enthusiasts as the "deca-logo" period, the first Jackson made in Japan.
It is a Custom grade, the highest grade of Jackson made in Japan at the time, and has specifications that are close to those of the USA models of the time.
The body wing is made of Yellow Poplar, a characteristic of the early Jackson models, and the neck is a Maple through-neck construction, which provides excellent playability in the high position and long sustain. The fingerboard is Ebony, and the position marks are the well-known Shark Fin inlays with pearls.
The pickups are the now rare Jackson J-200 front and center, J-50BC in the rear, and the classic 80s and 90s Jackson JE-1200 mid-boost circuit!
The bridge is equipped with a German Schaller S-FRT double locking tremolo with Jackson logo, which is as accurate and stable in tuning as a Floyd Rose. The string lock insert blocks, which are prone to cracking, have been replaced with KTS titanium insert blocks for increased durability.
There are no problems with the condition of the neck. The frets are in good condition with no major dents.
There are some shallow scratches on the body and some paint chips on the tip of the neck, but considering the age and genre of use, it is in good condition.
This is a rare early, Japanese-made Jackson!
Year: circa 1992
Fret remaining: 80%.
Truss rod: OK
Flaws: Scratches and dents, dull and rusty parts
Replacement parts/modifications: Insert blocks, tremolo springs, strap pins, end pins
付属品:オリジナルハードケース
