1990 Ibanez EX Series EXB-404 - Burgandy Red

This is a 1990 Ibanez EX Series bass. This EXB-404 is a great player still in great condition. The neck is nearly perfect, nice and straight with very little fret wear. The has a little bit of buckle rash on the back and a couple small dings that are not through the finish and could be covered by a dime, overall pretty good. It looks like there is some finish damage at the tip of the top horn under the straplock and also on the bottom horn. These were touched up by the previous owner with sharpie. I'm not a fan of that technique myself but it actually hides it really nicely in this case. This will make a great starter bass for someone who is serious about getting quality. This is a nice Ibanez bass with a straight fast neck. For the money it's way better than many of the new alternatives out there. 
The electronics are good and function normally without major buzz. The pots roll without crackle or pop. The only thing that is not original is the strap locks (no fastening ends included) and it looks like at one point two of the bridge saddle got new height screws so the action could be made higher. Other than that this is a very original bass that looks and sounds great. The color is listed as "Burgundy Red" but looks like a dark version of candy apple red, very pretty.
