Philip Sayce’s personal owned 1966 Fender Bassman blackface amplifier, heavily modified and signed by the legendary Cesar Diaz (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Neil Young) in 2001, one year before his passing.. this is one of the very last amplifiers he modified. Philip Sayce used this amplifier a few years extensively during multiple tours and official video clips with Melissa Etheridge. There are many videos that can be seen on YouTube. Philip Sayce also used this amplifier for his solo albums, I believe for Peace Machine, also used to record his solo album called "Inner Revolution" - including his most famous songs. Can be seen in many videos with Melissa Etheridge around 2008-2009 (Live Sets Yahoo Music). Cesar Diaz heavily modified the electronics inside, he changed everything, and only the first channel is working (which is one of Cesar Diaz's mod). 115V power. For 220V use external power transformer/converter.

This amplifier is just another true gem from the legendary Cesar Diaz. It sounds insane and like heaven, I have never heard such tone before. Cesar Diaz’s modifications are secret and private and therefor I can send all photos from the inside after buying. He left some cool messages written on the inside of the chassis ;-)

Philip Sayce: “Cesar Diaz modified this amplifier for me personally. He did a lot of work to it, it sounded incredible. The Bassman head was purchased in Toronto at Capsule Music and I brought it with me when I met with Cesar in 2001. I played it live and in studio for almost 10 years, a very special amplifier. Serviced by Tommy Cougar (Swedish Dumble)."
