This is a pretty fabulous guitar. Until 6 or so weeks ago I didn't know The BC Rich Rico's even offered an acoustic. Overall the guitar is pretty clean, not perfect but no cracks or breaks, or repairs, plays well with a nice straight neck (a little relief but the truss rod works), very little fret wear, but man! It's gorgeous! Birdseye maple sides and back. I can't tell if the sides and back are laminate or solid, but plenty of birdeye on the inside, and kind of looks like it's solid wood. Nice lightly tinted amber finish sides and back. Proudly stamped on the inside back bracing is "BC Rico RW-9C, Hand Crafted Japan", and closer to the neck block "R1766". It has some kind of pickup, using a battery that is velcroed to the neck block, which works and sounds pretty good. Non original hard case. Thanks for looking!
