Pioneer DJM-500 4-Channel Professional DJ Mixer W/New Mini Innofader

This is a used DJM-500 4-Channel Performance DJ Mixer by Pioneer. This classic mixer was manufactured in Japan in 1997, and is made for North American voltage (120VAC). It is fully functional and sounds great; it features built-in effects, 3-band EQ for each channel and mic, send and booth outputs, and 3 phono inputs. Comes with 3-prong power cable. Additionally, I just installed a new Mini Innofader DJM (by Audio Innovate), a silky smooth, high-precision non-contact replacement crossfader.

This mixer itself is in good used condition. You can clearly see some wear and tear on the exterior, as this was a used a bit for gigging early in its life. Additionally, all the faders/sliders, knobs, and switchers have been cleaned/lubed and work perfectly; I blasted every moving part with De-Oxit F5 and swabbed every connector with 99% alcohol. Even the original crossfader got a cleaning and sounds lovely.

The new Mini Innofader was installed this past April. I calibrated it with a sharp cut-in and minimal lag; this can be adjusted/customized to your liking. Installing this fader has given the Pioneer new life, but I already have three other mixers I'm emotionally attached to, and I'm not gigging anymore.

Per Innofader.com: mini Innofader DJM Sometimes DJs just keep asking us for a solution, and at some point we cave in and do it. This is our call to come up with something, even if for audio mixers that have not been produced for over 10 years. The result is the mini innoFADER DJM.
The mini innoFADER DJM is specifically designed to work in legacy Pioneer DJM-300, DJM-500, and DJM-600 mixers. It uses essentially the same componentry as the Innofader Pro2 so it also has the same 0.1mm cut point accuracy and 1msec response time. And like the Innofader Pro2, you get 1024 point resolution on the output.
Just in case you want to use this performance part on other Pioneer DJM mixers, it can be made to work with 3 pin connectors found on most newer DJM mixers. Just check our website for more info, and be kind enough to help us check things with a voltmeter!
