Beautiful 1980 D-37K owned and toured with Bob Shane from the Kingston Trio. Koa back and sides.
Comes with a handwritten letter from Bob, as well as a couple of emails. I got this guitar from the person who bought it from Bob at a show I believe in 1982 or 83. The wear on the bottom of the top is common on Bob's guitars. He said he would rest that part on the ground as he changed his strings.
I will happily tell you the little story about this guitar when you buy it.
This guitar plays and sounds great. I'd describe it as "reactive." Please look at the wear in the pictures. It's not bad but there obviously is some. The neck is on the fatter side. It's been in a case with the strings loosened for about a year. It's time to let it go. Own a great piece of Folk history and enjoy!
