This piece of history has always been stored like a diamond care. There are only some very light scratches at the back possibly of a belt. It could have set almost as Mint.
These were only made during 1924-25 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. At that time, musicians were changing more often from banjos to ukuleles and especially banjoleles due to their dynamic voice and sound.
The "back door" can be closed, half-opened or taken off. It has a wider range of adjusting the volume. In small club gigs the amp is not necessary needed.
The head is fiber skin -type and works very well giving a solid rhythm and a beauty sound. A skin head could be tested too, giving even more silent and lower and original sounds.

Heavy maple rim and neck. EB can be characterized by a quite narrow spacing. The UB 1 and UB 2 models' fingerboards were wider like in normal ukuleles.
