The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '62/'63 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a super cool Aged Olympic White nitro lacquer, this Strat boasts a Journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Rift Sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 7.25"-9.5" compound radius and 21 vintage frets, the '62/63 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '63 Strat Style "C" neck shape and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender '60/'63 Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
