Kiso Klein OMK-1 Indian Rosewood/Spruce Electro Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a really special guitar, a handbuilt Kiso OMK-1 OM style acoustic guitar with a Fishman soundhole pickup installed. This is a beautifully made guitar and the attention to detail is stunning, from the Kiso Crano inlaid with Hawaiian Koa at the base of the neck to the Kiso inlay on the Ebony fingerboard. Gotoh machine heads adorned with the Kiso brand keep excellent tuning stability.

The neck is a bolt on and there is virtually no heel, meaning that it has full fret access all the way to the 14th fret. The tonewood choice of Solid Indian Rosewood and Solid Sitka Spruce is a hugely popular combination thanks to the richness of the tone it produces and the clarity and volume of the output. The OM shape lends itself predominately to fingerstyle playing since it accentuates the higher registers resulting in excellent clarity.

The strings are held in place on individual posts and guided into place with black cap screws. The "Removable Tail Block" was designed and used under license from luthier and guitar designer Abe Wechter. This access door makes the inside of the guitar body almost totally accessible for fine tuning of the bracing, electronic installation and upgrading, and for repairs in years to come. The bracing structure is the KisoKlein configuration, incorporating Steve Klein's Kasha inspired bracing. The Nut Width is 1 3/4" and the Scale length is 25 3/8".

Guitar has a few light scratches on the rear of the body and has been played and well loved. Rightly so, it's a stunning piece of equipment! it's one of the first I have come across and would love to add this to any collection.
