Excellent Plus Condition (finish crazing overall, light superficial scratches and dings overall, crack free, new buttons on tuners, neck reset and refret by Flip Scipio) It's not all that common to see a guitar of this era that is totally crack free as this one is. Not even a pickguard crack which happens all the time due to the shrinkage of the celluloid pickguard. This one has had a neck reset and refret in the 90's by renown luthier Flip Scipio during his tenure with Mandolin Bros. on Staten Island. The action is currently set at 3mm at the 12th fret on the bass side and there is still a bit of room to come down on the saddle. This little gem has the vintage sound many of us are looking for; fast attack, very punchy with strong fundamentals. It's a great sounding fingerstyle guitar especially for blues, old-time and ragtime music. This is an all around great little guitar at any price and especially great for this price. Don't wait on this one.
