Fender Santa Rosa 1989 Red Electric/Acoustic

Here is a rarely seen Fender Santa Rosa. Fender's 1989 semi-solid body electric/acoustic that was only produced for two years.
Plays like an electric guitar, sounds like an acoustic guitar. Slightly smaller than a Telecaster, as lightweight as a Thinline semi-hollow body and 24 frets!

I'm the original owner of this guitar and it has stayed in its case most of its life. It has some signs of wear as it was my only guitar for a while when it was new. I leaned it against a wall and it slid sideways and struck a desk one time which created a dent at the base of the neck and another on the corner of the headstock. There is a small crease in the finish on the face of the instrument. Otherwise, no chips in the finish and still in excellent condition. I would grade it excellent if it wasn't for the dents from that one tumble it took.

The binding on this guitar is like new. The neck is comfortable to play, the guitar is lightweight and it sounds fantastic - producing a clean bright acoustic guitar sound.
