A Hofner Contemporary Club Bass in a rather rare Translucent Red finish. The bass is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings. The only thing I did to this Bass other than buying a case was put Pyramid flat-wound strings on and white “tea-cup” knobs that came on the original ones. The stock black knobs are in the case.
This bass has been very good to me but I have to let it go, as I’m still not working a lot due to the virus. I haven’t seen any other ones that are this color with the flame maple back and sides.
It sounds really really good with these flats but of course you can put round-wound strings on it. Good for any genre of music or to keep on-hand in the studio like I did.
