Fabulous flamey to hell Spalted Maple top cap w/a Purple Heart center strip over what looks like a very colorful & striped Koa 2 piece back, very cool Neck-Thru Body Graphite neck showing all the fibers inside its construction, so advanced for the early 80’s, 3 killer sounding “Alembic” pickups (2 single coil & 1 Humbucker) make this 1-Off bass one of the most influential collectibles ever designed & produced, this is a fantastic example of “Geoff Gould” at his best, he was the man whom started “Modulus Graphite” after his time with Alembic, his new company started using Carbon Fiber & Graphite in the art of boutique bass building, we have had more early Modulus basses than anyone else & most were 1-off pieces to keep its exclusivity for its individual owners, this bad boy is no exception, it appears all original & is in excellent condition with a great feeling wide neck having great action, she comes with a nice black hard case.
