1969 Colorsound Power Boost Vintage Guitar Overdrive Fuzz Pedal - Rare Pre Overdriver, Sounds Great

For sale is this vintage 1969 Colorsound Power Boost overdrive effects pedal. This rare stompbox is the predecessor to the more common Colorsound Overdriver. The Power Boost is perhaps the ultimate in overdrive, and since being discontinued in 1971, has spawned an entire cottage industry founded upon replicating and reinventing the original. This example, though original where it matters, has been thoughtfully modified and serviced for more practical use. Namely, it has been modified to accept a 9v power adapter, as well as, modified to accommodate a master volume mounted on the side (much like the reissues made in the '90s.) With (3) BC109 transistors, some new electrolytic caps, many original tropical fish caps, this pedal sounds nuts: it's really really great.
