This internal SCSI Drive Kit allows you to backup sounds from floppy or zip disk to SD card for archiving music files. You can also move sounds from PC to Workstation / Sampler and back. Memory card access time is much faster then floppy and zip disks. Backup your old floppy or zip disks with this card reader drive. This SCSI SD reader is compatible with 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB SD cards. This card reader is outfitted with SD slot and USB management port. This SCSI Card Reader can be operated with 4 SCSI drive ID's partitioned across a 16GB SD memory card. Basically four 4GB removable drives on one 16GB SD card. Each drive resides at the SCSI ID you choose i.e. Drive 1 = SCSI ID 0, Drive 2 = SCSI ID 1, Drive 3 = SCSI ID 2 & Drive 4 = SCSI ID 3 (default unit settings). Each drive can be formatted for different machines in your studio i.e. Drive 1 = Akai MPC 60II, Drive 2 = Emu SP 1200, Drive 3 = Ensoniq ASR 10 & Drive 4 = Sequential Circuits Studio 440... You can configure the system for any 4x Drive combination you desire. Additional SD cards can be configured and formatted for other equipment in your pro or project studio. Giving you virtually unlimited removable storage for your vintage SCSI studio gear.

Custom Big Noise Upgrades: The new Black SCSI-Master has a smooth composite fiber face-plate, adorned with stainless steel socket head bolts and stainless steel washers, for a refined subdued look. The branded RF shield plate was added to reduce radio frequency interference, enhance digital ground plane performance and provide structural integrity. Bypass capacitor C2 has been installed to enhance power plane performance.
