The vintage Premier Model 50 hides a surprise: it is vastly overpowered. Most 8” speaker amps at the time gave you 3 to 5 watts, maybe 7 watts tops. But the wizards at Premier’s 1961 NYC factory knew what they were doing. With its 6L6 power circuitry the Model 50 cranks out 17 watts -- truly phenomenal for a compact vintage amp.

You get the richest and fullest vintage tube-tone you’ll ever hear from an amp this size. Even has a great crunchy break-up. Crank it up full and get a raucous overdrive, especially through the mic circuit.

Plus the amp is super clean and all original, from the way cool metallic “foil” grille to the two-tone covering and everything else, inside & out.

And it’s the perfect size for noodling at home, taking to practice or rehearsal sessions, or at studios or hotels on the road. If you’re a guitarist you’ll be stunned by how good your playing sounds through this vintage little gem. If you’re a harp player, you’ll be in blues heaven.

Complete with a very rare and original 1959 Premier 10-page full-line amps mini-catalog (see pics).

For an even wider range of tone, jack the Model 50 to the optional and equally super-clean 1963 Premier Reverb unit. With its original spring-box reverb, and fully adjustable for speed and depth, hooked to the Model 50 amp it’s a blast, and sounds awesome. The Reverb unit is complete with its original copper-hued metal Premier footswitch.
