Curtis Novak Goldfoil DeArmond S-Grille DeArmond Style Vintage Correct Pickup
Vintage correct DeArmond-Style gold foil. Labeled "bridge." It has a chrome cover, silver foil and includes the bezel plate. Pickup measures 5.7K Ohms. Lead wire is 6" long.
Note: This pickup was used on a guitar where the bezel needed to be removed to accommodate the install. The rivets were re-used to attach the bezel again. They appear to be holding fine, but new rivets might be required in the future. I have adjusted the price accordingly.
The original S Grille Goldfoils were used on Silvertone and Harmony guitars and basses from the late 50's early to late 60's. Novak describes his DeArmond coil as a powerful, dirty, P90-like tone. This pickup is in nice shape. It's articulate, touch sensitive and sounds great.
