Pure Tone Custom - Kinman in Series Treble Bleed Circuit Mod
Pure Tone Custom offer premium hand picked and hand wired electronics that will enhance your guitar or bass by giving you absolute clarity and control over your tone.
Have you ever turned down your volume on your guitar or bass and noticed the drop off in treble as the volume gets lower and lower. The Pure Tone Custom Treble Bleed Circuit brings your guitar or bass back to life, by preserving the treble as you roll off the volume, giving you a much more balanced and uniform sound. What I really like about the Treble Bleed Circuit is that you get a really nice defined clean sound when you roll back the volume knob on a driven amp channel giving you full control of your sound while your playing.
The Treble Bleed Circuit is an increasingly popular mod that now even comes as standard in Fender American Profession Series guitars.
This particular Treble Bleed Circuit is a Kinman in Series Treble Bleed Circuit with a 0.0012µF capacitor and 130 kΩ resistor wired in series. This configuration is a popular mod that is favored by many guitarists due to its less drastic change in taper and slight boost to the midrange in comparison to other Treble Bleed Circuits.
I also sell other popular Treble Bleed Circuits including the Custom Spec Parallel Treble Bleed Circuit and the Standard Parallel Treble Bleed Circuit which is a very commonly found treble bleed circuit. They all have their own subtle differences on the taper and amount of treble that is preserved as you roll down the volume.
All of my Treble Bleed Circuits are hand soldered and come equipped with heat shrink tubing for added strength and protection.
