The Api 1604 is one of the enduring classic recording mixers. Equally well suited for a high end home studio, or as the sidecar for a larger console, the 1604 has the sound quality and beauty we have come to associate with classic vintage Api products.  This wonderful  1970's Api 1604 console has been lovingly brought up to specs. It has new mahogany woodwork ; very nicely done. In spite of what you see in the pictures, it comes with the following eq's: 8 x Api 560b graphics...6 x Api 553 and 6 x  550 . It does Not include the 525 limiter pictured. Price includes crating and shipping in the 48 states, or you can take off $1000 and pick it up.  The Api 1604  has always been overwhelmingly popular and they have become harder and harder to locate. There are surely less than 100 of them ever made. The Api 1604 is perfectly suited to the modern home professional  studio, both as a front end and also as a stem mixer. Obviously, it also makes a spectacular sidecar for any large studio. Fantastic sounding mic/line pre amps and mix busses. The combining amps in Busses 3 and 4 on this mixer have been modified by one of the most highly respected techs in the industry. Buyer  can easily return it to stock if desired.  Busses 1 and two are stock. The pan function is a modification. Please note that the input modules,  stock to this mixer, and original api modules, are types 514. Please see the pictures.  This is one hella beautiful console! The original formica has been replaced with real wood. Located in the midwest.
