Epiphone Elitist Les Paul 57 Gold Top - 2007 Japan - Upgraded - Mint - Rare
Here we have a near mint example of the Elitist Les Paul 57 Gold Top with some top spec upgrades.
Made in Japan at the Fuji-gen plant in 2007 using the finest hand selected mahogany for weight and tonal qualities. Featuring a bone nut, Grover machine heads, real abalone and pearl inlays and 1 piece 14 deg grain oriented neck.
These Elitist models are very fine instruments and not to be confused with the other mass produced Epiphones.
This example also has been upgraded to Gibson USA Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups and finished with a Mojo Pickups wiring harness featuring paper in oil (PIO) caps, premium matched CTS TVT pots, cloth wire and Switchcraft toggle swich and jack.
What you are looking at here is a very rare near mint example of this very high quality guitar.
I would of said it is 100% mint but there is a tiny knock on the top of the headstock, a tiny scratch about 1cm long on the rear of the body and the bridge pickup surround has 2 very small cracks that are barely noticeable apart from that it is mint.
Plays and sounds as good as it looks. The previous owner was fortunate enough to also own a Gibson Historic Les Paul R7 and said the difference between this and R7 was negligible !
Comes with the original Elitist hardcase which is not mint but still very good condition and the original hang tags.
Don't miss out - you won't see another like this anywhere..
