Clean, 1978 Fender Musicmaster. Older refinish job, finished in a gray matte finish. See photos for a shot of the neck pocket. Fender didn't paint inside the neck pocket, so it's obvious this was a refin. It looks a lot like the color of gray primer. We suspect the pickup has been changed out for a Strat pickup (not a bad idea), since the pole pieces are visible. The pickup meters 5.63. Controls are quiet. The body has a few nicks and dings, mostly on the corners, which is the usual place for those to appear. You can see some (but not all) of them in the photos. The pickguard has the expected blush of scratches below the little E string, as expected. Frets have very little wear for a 1978 model. The rosewood fretboard does have some signs of playing wear.

The case is a gray (we suspect G&G) Fender case. It is 100%, not even a nick in the tolex. All the latches are good, and latch springs are good.
