This violin is German-made, dated to early 1900's.

I bought this violin from the folk music center in Claremont, California in 2002 for $1,650. I have loved it, written songs with it, travelled far and wide with it, but it's time to let it go and be loved by someone else.  I am primarily a guitarist/singer, and just don't play it enough to justify keeping it.

This violin has been kept in a clean, smoke-free environment, out of direct sunlight, away from heaters and temperature fluctuations.

The violin has some wear and tear like the scratches pictured on the body, but other than that, it sounds BEAUTIFUL and plays like a dream. All tuning pegs and fine tuners work wonderfully, and the strings on it are somewhat new. I have photographed this lovely instrument in different natural light setting to try and showcase it's unique beauty and flaws to the best of my ability.

Please note, I am selling this violin without a case or bow, which is why I have lowered the price.
