Line 6 POD OS 2.3 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT

• This upgrade version 2.3 is the latest known firmware update issued by Line 6 for the POD.
• Included will be 1 upgrade chip to complete the upgrade.

The POD itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chip will be supplied.

Unlike some others, No used or refurbished as “new” components will be supplied here.

• This upgrade is not compatible with newer POD 2.0 series units. The easiest way to find if you have a newer and incompatible unit is to note the newer looking 3-digit display as well as “FBV” labeled above the RJ45 jack.
• Before purchasing, Check which firmware your POD is running: With the unit off, Press and hold MANUAL and turn on. The display will now display the installed firmware running.
• New features when upgrading from 1.0 to firmware revision 2.3: New amp models: Line 6 Twang, Crunch 2, Blues and Insane.
• All 32 Amp models can be accessed from the front panel.
• Holding Tap Tempo down allows you to change all dial settings from Drive, Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume, Reverb, Effect Tweak, Amp models and Cab models.
• The ability to store your favorite settings for amps and effects. Easily switch through presets using the dial.
• The ability to tune the POD to work with different AMP setups.
• Latch mode was added as well as changes to amp and cab models.
