Tons of real vintage mojo with this Mustang! So much fun to play.
1966 (Jan 1966) Fender Mustang.
Not a re-issue.
I *think* the original body has been refined in black nitro--hard to say... so....
Neck has been refretted with jumbo 6150 wire and are in excellent condition, so it plays like new--love it.
Original vintage type open slot tuners.
Pickups are Buddha hand-wound Buddha Mustang pickups (alnico 2 - just like the originals would be). They sound amazing.
The original switches and pots work great. You can put both picks out of phase.
Base bridge is original, and the saddle bridge is a new adjustable Gotoh. (The original saddle bridge is included).
Missing whammy bar. Comes with hard shell case.
