1960's Ibanez 1860 Rare Model, Pre-cursor to the Jet King

This is a very rare early model Ibanez guitar. This was the era where they were made in the same factory as Guyatone. The Guyatone version of this guitar is called the LG70. It is rare to find these branded Ibanez. Made in the 60s (no serial numbers) this guitar still plays, and sounds great. The pickups are very unique and the switches are different tonal options, much like a Fender Jaguar. Very spanky sounding pickups. 24.75" Scale

It is imperative that you understand that this is not a "gig ready" guitar.  The guitar is still very playable (big chunky neck) but due to the design of the plastic floating bridge, tremolo, and old tuning machines, the guitar does not have very good tuning stability. It is very old, and a quirky design therefore will not stay in tune reliably without considerable modifications. There are a few bumps and chips and scratches, but the guitar is overall quite good condition. Unfortunately the tremolo bar went missing years ago, as did the ash tray cover for the bridge and one string ferrule (replaced with a metal one).
