This is THE holy grail of Guild Amps. Not only is this the cleanest I have ever seen but it sounds great. I saw a write up in Vintage Guitar about this era 1955/56 and they valued the amp at $3000. The tolex and grill is as clean as it gets. Faceplate all intact with no major wear. All inputs work. Treble and bass work. The tweeter switch to turn them on and off works. The only thing that is not working is the tremolo. But I cannot find a schematic for it to fix. The original dual 1955 Jensen tweeters work great. The 1955 Jensen P12R works great. Original handle. Original cover in great shape. It does have a 3 prong chord and the amp is grounded with no shocking. A Isolation transformer from the 1950's was added. A quad of 50l6 power tubes. Dual rectified. 6sn7 and dual 12ax7's. The amp is about 15 watts of FAT blues guitar and harmonica tone. Sounds GREAT! All tubes seem to be original to the amp. IT GETS NO BETTER than this for a Guild Collector! In Working order ready to be a show off item in someone collection.
