JPG (Josh Parkin Guitars) Thunder on the Tundra - Thunderbird Pickups

This Listing is for a Set (Neck + Bridge) of Thunder on the Tundra - Thunderbird style Humbuckers.
These Pickups are MADE TO ORDER and will take approximately 7-10days to produce, however in some situations where uncommon parts/colours are used this may take longer, if this is the case you will be informed before hand and be given the opportunity to back out.

Thunder on the Tundra

Nappies on, you're most likely gonna hit the brown note with these badboys. Wound with 43awg Plain Enamel over Alnico 5 magnets like their Vintage Cousins, however these have a whole lot more wire for more output and more Low-End. For Best results, plug into multiple tube amps, smoke 'til you can barely open your eyes and teach your neighbours the true meaning of Thunder.

IMPORTANT - Thunder on the Tundra pickups are high-output and are recommended for use with Tube Amps where natural distortion is desired. Using these pickups with a Solid-State amp will likely result in unpleasant clipping of the pre-amp.

Lead Wire - 4-conductor, or, Vintage Braid

Metal Pickup Surrounds are available at £18each for Nickel, Chrome and Raw Nickel. £20each for Gold

Black Plastic Spacers available at x1-£15/x2-£27/x3-£33
(Plastic spacers are positioned under metal pickup surrounds and are used when additional pickup height is required, thickness 2.3mm)
