For sale is my Jackson Professional Series Rhoads Pro flying V. This is a Rhoads Pro which was made in Japan in 1992. Below are the specs:
Model: Rhoads Pro
Year: 1990-1995
Price: $1595
Body: Poplar wings
Neck: Quartersawn Maple
Fretboard: Bound ebony
Construction: Neck-thru 22 frets
Inlays: Sharkfin pearl
Pickups: J50B / J50N
Bridge: JT-590 (Schaller Floyd Rose)
The guitar is in excellent condition and the worst blemishes are shown in the last three pictures. The last picture shows where a large chip was professionally repaired on the lower horn.
The pickups were replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB (SH-4) in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2N Jazz in the neck. The guitar originally had active tone circuitry but it was removed since it was faulty. Both the original Jackson pickups and active tone circuitry parts are included. The tremolo block was upgraded to a large brass block (purchased from fu-tone.com for $50), but the original tremolo block is also included.
Included with the sale is the original hard shell Jackson case, as well as a strap with schaller strap locks, the original Jackson pickups, tremolo bar and a parts kit which includes the original electronic circuitry as well as spare springs, original tremolo block, original strap buttons, the back cavity cover and screws.
Items will be shipped with full insurance and signature confirmation. For international buyers, please contact me prior to purchasing to arrange shipping costs. International buyers are responsible for any import duties.
I reserve the right to end this auction early if the item is sold locally.
