This late 60's bass is in great shape for a guitar 50+ years old. The body has some minor dings and dents in it but the neck is straight and it sounds like the bass example attached. It's wearing new Fender 45's.
You will note in one of the photos here that there is something under the E string at the zero fret. That's a tiny piece of tape, not to hold the fret down but to prevent the E from buzzing due to wear on that part of that fret. Putting on that piece of tape cuts the price by $50.00. It plays absolutely fine with the tape there. It needs no other frets.
That dark dot under the G just below the pick guard is a blemish in the wood.
Unless shipping exceeds $30 to you the shipping price will remain at $1.00! If you're anywhere west of the Mississippi you can expect to pay the additional shipping fee.
