Fender Precision Bass 1968 See Thru Blonde

This is 1 of the rarest Basses ever made by Fender during this late 60’s era, it’s a stunner in its see-thru Blonde finish over a very grainy Ash body, its crazy rare Maple Cap neck having a maple fingerboard on a maple neck is the ultimate pairing having no skunk stripe or headstock plug, finish her off w/a lovely Tortoise’gard (still retaining its aluminum ground plate) for 1 of the most beautiful basses ever produced, its neck is dated August 1968 & she has pot date codes from the 31st week of 1966, she still sports her original Cloth Wiring, it is 100% original & very lightweight, we sold an identical bass to Mike Mills back in the late 90‘s that became his favorite bass & was used on every video, TV appearance & concert performance by him since, one of the coolest basses to have emerged in years, truly excellent overall, comes with its original Black hard case.
