Cortado MkII is a balanced & buffered piezo contact microphone that matches the piezo's high impedance to your recorder or console's input. It balances the signal for superior signal-to-noise and wide frequency response. This model has a 1' (30cm) XLR cable and 1.5' (45cm) piezo sensor lead; also available with 4' (122cm) & 6' (183cm) sensor leads.

Cortado requires phantom power, such as the Espresso Portable Phantom Power Supply by Zeppelin Design Labs. With a Smartphone Adapter Cable (also from ZDL), you can go completely mobile and record in the field directly into your smartphone.
