Some time ago, John Greven invented a new product. It is a faux tortoiseshell called Tor-tis.

This dynamic new polymer material was designed to mimic genuine tortoiseshell in every respect. Not only does it look like real tortoise, it sounds and feels like it too. These pickguards have a lower specific gravity than traditional plastic pickguards, and this allows them (and the top of your guitar) to vibrate more freely. Many major builders already utilize these pickguards, among them are Collings & Langejans Guitars.

Impact and scratch resistance are just part of what makes our Tor-tis™ pickguards great. They are highly refractive and chemically inert, untouched by solvents! They are produced from resins backed by 25 plus years of industrial use.

All Tor-tis™ products are made in-house – meaning quality control is very high.

These are an "OM" Teardrop Style guard, but may easily fit others as well.

Beautifully crafted with smooth beveled edges

( The small piece of tape on leading edge is simply to attach it to the display placard & is easily removed)

Application is very easy. Simply peel off the 3M paper backing & the back of the pick guard is 'self-adhesive'. So you simply place it on the guitars top, & lay it down in place. 

Would look great on any Martin, Collings, Gibson, Eastman or any other guitar...
