The CBS/Arbiter Doubler fuzz is a rare and extremely difficult effect pedal to find.
This particular unit is an ALL ORIGINAL CIRCUIT with all original parts, including the equally hard to find BC173 transistors housed in a reproduction enclosure.
Let me be clear. The only non-original parts of this pedal are the reproduction box, knobs and the two footswitches. A DC jack was also added so the user could power the unit via barrel (Boss style) 9V power OR 9V battery. Everything else is all original!!!

Designed by Gary Hurst, who also designed the Vox Tonebender, in the mid-late 70s. The pedal features a thick fuzz created by 4 BC173 transistors with a switchable Octave up effect.
Volume, Sustain and Filter controls.

Think Dan Auerbach/Jack White/Frank Zappa and you'll get an idea of what it sounds like.

As stated, the circuit is all vintage, original and analog. Because of its age there is some crackle when the Sustain knob is turned, but if that bothers you then you probably don't want a fuzz pedal anyway.
Also, be warned. The enclosure is big, just like the originals.

So if you want that classic, vintage Rock fuzz but can't afford collector prices this is for you! Some "British" companies sell clones of this exact pedal for over $300. You can get the real-deal tone here. And that's what it's all about anyway, right? Don't pay for a copy when you can have the original!
