Ludwig Vintage Super Classic 22 X 14 Bass Drum, Silver Sparkle, 1960s Classic

Vintage Ludwig Super Classic 22 x 14 bass drum.
Finished in silver sparkle.
Very clean drum with Ludwig hardware and original silver sparkle hoops.
Natural finish wood shell with original reinforcement rings. Shell is in round and bearing edges and shell interior are clean. Vibrant sparkle finish that looks great in natural lighting and under stage lights.
This drum has received some modifications many years ago -- this is an excellent player's drum with classic warm, woody tone.
1. The drum was re-wrapped at some point. The wrap is in excellent condition and has a very slight yellowing ting which is normal for drums from the 60s and older. Silver sparkle is in very clean condition, no seam lift. Ther is no Ludwig badge on this drum.
2. The drum's original rail tom mount has been replaced by a Ludwig non-original post mount. Extra holes were drilled to mount this hardware. This mont can accommodate a double or single tom post.
3. The drum's original leg/spurs were replaced by vintage Ludwig legs/spurs and mounts. The current mounts are definitely from the 1960s. Non-original holes were drilled to mount these legs.
All or the non-original holes show only from the inside of the shell, the re-wrap covered all non-original holes from the outside of the shell.hardwaare is all in excellent condition -- original tension rids and claws, original lugs.
The drum's hops are both in excellent original condition with no breaks in the silver sparkle inlay. Light paint wear on the original black hoop finish.
All in all, a great player's drum with years of faithful service remaining.
